Our Unschooling Meetups

We’ve been in Madeira since 2022, and our unschooling community has grown beautifully since then.

Many families here share our values, and we regularly come together—sometimes in small circles, sometimes in larger gatherings—to:

• surf,

• take classes,

• walk shelter dogs,

• join creative workshops like crafting or pottery,

• explore parks,

• spend carefree days at the beach,

• and enjoy many other activities.

Not all of our unschooling friends will live at APTB, but our gatherings will continue on and off APTB grounds—these connections have become genuine friendships, and we love sharing time and adventures together.
