Dear friends, some things will be built with the help and input of our community (such as trips and workshops), therefore we don’t have all the information and prices, so please bare with us until we’ve inaugurated.
-
Lodging
We will offer lodging in fully equipped houses with 1,2&3 bedrooms. What we want for you and your family is to feel at home and enjoy your time as much as possible.
Rent, buy, co-own - your choice!
-
Blocks
We offer our community specific areas of interest called Blocks, full of possibilities to get to know different things that can be explored, learned, loved or just let be.
It will continuously adapt to the user’s needs.
-
Proof of Co-Cowork
Meet others, extend your network, make friends, support each other or simply focus on your work. Use this space for whatever you like. Note that kids are allowed in as well in certain areas because they like to understand, help and learn.
-
UnParenting.
Parents can join our in-person and online circles to gently unlearn old conditioning and discover new ways of being with their children. We call it Gentle UnParenting ;-) Meet us in the garden to explore your thoughts together—using tools like The Work by Byron Katie.
-
Trips
We’ll organize regular adventures for parents, kids, and families—visiting parks, beaches, mountains, festivals, or enjoying levada walks together. Families can also travel to our sister villages around the world and share experiences beyond Madeira.
-
Workshops
Everybody can join workshops we offer in our Blocks—some free, others with a small fee. It’s a free market where community members may offer their own services, with or without payment. You’re also invited to host a workshop and share your gifts with others.
-
Horseback riding
You’ll also have the chance to connect deeply with our horses and ponies—learning how to care for them, ride with confidence, explore forest trails, and experience the healing power of horse therapy. Our equine activities foster trust, presence, and harmony between humans and animals.
-
Unschooling meetups
We’ll host regular unschooling meetups—also for visiting families and those living elsewhere.
We already gather often with our local unschooling crew across different spots in Madeira and look forward to welcoming more like-minded families.
