Dear friends, some things will be built with the help and input of our community (such as trips and workshops), therefore we don’t have all the information and prices, so please bare with us until we’ve inaugurated.
-
Lodging
We will offer lodging in fully equipped houses for families up to 6 people. What we want for you and your family is to feel at home and enjoy your time as much as possible.
Rent, buy, co-own - your choice!
-
Blocks
We offer our community specific areas of interest called Blocks, full of possibilities to get to know different things that can be explored, learned, loved or just let be.
It will continuously adapt to the user’s needs.
-
Proof of Co-Cowork
Meet others, extend your network, make friends, support each other or simply focus on your work. Use this space for whatever you like. Note that kids are allowed in as well in certain areas because they like to understand, help and learn.
-
UnParenting.
Parents can take advantage of our online and in-person community to unlearn beliefs that no longer serve them. We call it Gentle UnParenting ;-) Join us and other parents in the garden to inquire your thoughts using The Work by Byron Katie for example.
-
Trips
We’ll organise regular outings for parents, kids or families. We’ll go to events, parks, to the mountains, the beach, visit museums, festivals or undertake levada walks and whatever else we feel like doing as a community.
-
Workshops
Parents and/or families will be able to sign up for workshops that we’ll offer. Some with an extra fee, others for free. You’re also welcome to propose a workshop if you feel you have something valuable to share with others.
-
Horseback riding
Learning how to take care of horses, ride them, do tours through our forest, horse therapy and more will also be possible at APTB.
The horses will also be unschooled and treated in the freest way possible.
-
Unschooling meetups
We’ll host regular unschooling meetups—also for visiting families and those living elsewhere.
We already gather often with our local unschooling crew across different spots in Madeira and look forward to welcoming more like-minded families.
