Topography in progress
Hello there my friends!
Today was such a wonderful day!
It started very early for me because our topographer picked me up at 7.30am to drive to our land and start measuring the road, such as our architect had asked him to. He’d like to build a 6m wide road plus a sidewalk - sounds good to me!
By the way, we decided to go with a different topographer. Rodrigo is our former neighbor and did the topography of the first land we found and wanted to buy but declined the purchase in the end.
He works with a drone and the typical measuring tools of a topographer which speeds his work up. But we need to hurry with the clearing of the terraces that we’re allowed to build on because with the piles of trees and bushes gathered on almost every terrace, it makes it harder for him to use the drone.
The good thing is that he’ll feed our architect every measuring work immediately so that he can put it into his map and start working on the design simultaneously.
Below you can see today’s video. At the end of it Rob and I walk through a field of dense ferns that we’re cleaning by hand at the moment. On it I’d love to build a coworking space and a gazebo for physical activities like BJJ, Yoga, gym etc.
We like the idea of using what we have around us for our workouts. Rob and I imagined today putting big rocks in different sizes by that gym to lift them, hang a rope on a tree to climb it and so on….
What would you put?
